Cake Policy/Terms & Conditions
1. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable.
2. We must receive the balance by the due date indicated, or the contract is null and void, and the deposit will not be refunded. WHEN AN INVOICE IS SENT TO YOU, THE DEPOSIT OR FULL BALANCE (if applicable) MUST BE PAID WITHIN 48 HOURS (or unless I arranged with you) OR THE INVOICE WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE.
3. Your final payment date is the last date for any changes in the cake's size, style, or flavor. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
4. Delivery and setup depend on the venue's location and will be stipulated in the final price.
We also have the option to pick it up at 221-12 S Conduit Ave, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413(McDonald's parking lot).
5. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after the setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and an optimal room temperature of 60 degrees F or below.
6. If an outside source provides flowers, we will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
7. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.
8. Occasionally, we will photograph our cakes and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
9. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless from allergic reactions.
11. Gigis.Sweet.Kakes requires all customers to submit an order at least seven days before its due date. If you submit an order 3-5 days before its due date, it will result in a rush fee, which is 15% of your order total & you are required to pay the FULL BALANCE. Any orders made 1-2 days before their due date will also result in a rush fee of 30% of your orders total & you will be required to pay the FULL BALANCE. You do not have the option to pay the 50% deposit.
13. Once you place your order and pay the deposit, you will have 48 hours to cancel to receive your deposit back. Beyond 48 hours, we WILL NOT OFFER A REFUND. Once your order is finished, we will not offer a refund since supplies, custom decorations, and time are used. But, after the delivery/pickup, you will have 24 hours from that date & time to claim unsatisfactory with your order. I will work with you to fix the issue. Beyond that, the customer will be assumed to have accepted the order unconditionally.
14. Please note when submitting an inspirational picture, my work will not be exactly like the picture, but it will be identical.
15. Also, please note that submitting a Price Quote Form DOES NOT mean you placed an order. This form is only for inquiry, and after seeing what you would like, I will email you an invoice to pay if you want to complete the order. Deposit payments must be PAID at the time of order submission. The remaining invoice balance must be paid IN FULL 4 days before the order due date. IF YOU FAIL TO DO SO, YOUR ORDER WILL NOT BE FULFILLED.
16. Luster dust is used on our goods. Luster dust can be consumed is NON-TOXIC, but the FDA does not approve it.
18. Gigis.Sweet.Kakes assumes responsibility for the goods and any risk of damage, loss, or delay until the goods are DELIVERED/PICKED UP. Once the goods have been delivered/ picked up, the customer assumes all responsibility for any damage or loss.
19. NO REFUNDS -- If you are unsatisfied with your order, please don't hesitate to contact me. I want to ensure that you are pleased with your purchase, so if there is anything I can do to improve your experience, please let me know. I am committed to making things right and will gladly remake any item that does not meet your expectations.
